Powerslide Standard Hip Pads — EN-certified hip and tailbone protection built for inline skating, roller skating, skateboarding, scooter riding, and snowboarding. Padded shorts that wear under your kit so you forget they're there until you need them.
High-Density EVA Padding. Anatomically-placed EVA foam across hips and tailbone — absorbs impacts during slams without restricting movement. Lowest possible profile under jeans or training pants.
Breathable Aero-Mesh Upper. Polyester aero mesh with elastane stretch — light, breathable, and moves with you. Wears like compression shorts, not body armor.
EN 1621-1 Certified. Tested to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1 Type A — independent impact certification you can trust.

The Powerslide Standard Hip Pads are sized by waist circumference — a single measurement around your waist, just below the belly button. They run from XS (Junior) to XL. Match your measurement to the size below; if you fall between sizes, size up for comfort over a base layer.

🩵 Protective Shorts
Measure (A): wrap a soft tape around your waist circumference, just below the belly button, where the shorts sit. Keep the tape level and snug but not tight.
✓ How it should feel
The pads sit centred over your hip bones and tailbone, snug under your clothes, and stay in place when you skate, bend or fall.
✗ How it should NOT feel
The shorts slide down, the hip pads rotate off the hip bone, or the waistband digs in / pins below the band (too tight).
