Chaya Onyx — developed for serious derby players: to win in roller derby you need to be dynamic, quick on your feet and clever, and the Onyx gives you everything you need — unparalleled power transmission, outstanding agility, superior comfort and a locked-in heel. For intermediate to advanced skaters.
The foundation is a feather-light carbon Flex-Shell in a special mix of carbon, fiberglass and Kevlar: extremely robust, yet it adapts to your foot and heat-moulds at 100°C for a personalised, performance-boosting fit. The low-cut design frees the ankle for fast lateral moves and quick stops without compromising stability, wrapped in a PU and real-leather upper with an integrated microfibre liner and MYFIT derby techsole. The Dual Center Mounting (DCM) system connects boot and plate with two screws — just like inline skates — so you can adjust the plate forward, backward and sideways to suit your stance.

📏Chaya Derby Onyx Size Chart
Chaya Derby Onyx quad skates come in single EU sizes. Measure your foot length in cm (Mondo) and match it to the row below. The Plate column is the size of the skate’s derby plate. The US column shows Women’s / Men’s.
How to measure: Place a sheet of paper against a wall on a hard floor. Stand on it with your heel against the wall and mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure the distance in centimetres — that cm value is your size.

Insoles
A thinner insole adds about half a size of space — e.g. a 42 becomes a 42.5.

Wrapping with slight discomfort that softens after 6–8 hours. Toes touching or reaching the end.

Toes curling up, the foot moving around freely, or the heel lifting once laced.
