How to choose your wheels

Size

Bigger wheels roll faster but are harder to balance; smaller wheels are slower and more stable. New and recreational skaters suit 76–84 mm; speed and fitness skaters go larger (90–125 mm), while aggressive skatepark wheels are the smallest (55–64 mm).

Hardness (durometer)

The “A” number is the hardness. Higher (e.g. 85A+) rolls faster and lasts longer with less grip; lower (e.g. 78A) grips more and smooths out rough ground. Match it to your surface and discipline.
