MIPS stands for the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. It's a slip plane liner developed to reduce rotational engergy to the brain. In a crash, the MIPS system allows the helmet to rotate independently around your head, redirecting impact energy which can provide more protection in certain impacts. Although no two crashes are identical, two main types of force — linear and rotational — are related to the majority of brain injuries. Most real-world impacts actually subject your brain to a combination of both linear and rotational forces.

• DECREASE IN ROTATIONAL FORCE:

Equipped with the MIPS technology, the amount of rotational force that may impact the rider’s brain are greatly reduced. The elastomer stretches during angled impacts allowing the interior foam liner to rotate around the rider’s head and rider’s head.

Easy 1-2-3 set up, quickly transformed, full support, the Super 2 R is the most versatile all performance helmet.

With a removable chin guard, the Super 2R can be used for both normal and aggressive terrain. The Super 2R has a TAG fit system, overbrow ventilation and best of all, it comes with a camera mount. Allowing you to video down all your jaw dropping moments.

EASY wraparound Protection In Three Clicks

Removable chin guard for more support that extends to the jaw providing a full coverage. With cheek-pad adjustment by just pushing the sides of the helmet for a tighter and more secure fit, it is all made easy with the TAG fit system.

OVERBROW VENTILATION

The Overbrow Ventilation™ intakes work with the moto proven Velocity Flow Ventilation system on the Full-9 to actively usher cool air over the head via three ports on the brow of the helmet. A specially designed bridge keeps the ducting free from obstruction while the Full-9's air-channel matrix works to maximize full-head ventilation.

 

EXTENDED RIDER PROTECTION WITH ICEDOT

Bell strives to go above and beyond to protect during, and now after, an impact. ICEdot is an emergency notification service that syncs a secure online profile with a helmet sticker that contains a unique code. ICEdot has the ability to share pre-designated health information over sms/text. ICEdot ID products allow first responders to retrieve emergency information stored in an ICEdot profile. First responders send an SMS text message containing the PIN found on the ID product to the number specified an an immediate response message is returned containing information on the individual.
