The Dual is FR's 100mm metal-core speed wheel in translucent natural urethane on a red machined hub. Same job as the rest of the metal line: hold speed between pushes and stay composed on the rough stuff.
A metal core barely flexes under load, so the energy of a push goes into rolling rather than into the wheel, and the bearing seats stay true long after a nylon core has started to give. On a big 100mm wheel that rigidity is what keeps the ride direct instead of vague.
85A urethane holds enough grip for painted lines, damp paths and cornering while still rolling long on open road. Fits any frame that takes 100mm wheels. Bearings and spacers are not included.
