The price you see is the price you pay

All import duties, customs handling fees, and applicable tariffs are included in your checkout total. The price next to every product is the final price — nothing more is owed when your parcel arrives.

No surprise bills. The courier will never ask you for additional payment on delivery.

How DDP shipping works behind the scenes

Your order ships from our Singapore warehouse via FedEx Express, declared as Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). That means:

  • FedEx clears the parcel through your country’s customs on our account.
  • Inlinex pre-pays every applicable import duty and customs handling fee directly to your local customs authority.
  • You receive the package like a domestic delivery — no customs forms, no courier hand-off, no payment to make.

The Pay-On-Delivery (Postpay) option — some markets

For most non-Singapore markets, the cart page offers a Price Option toggle:

  • Prepay (DDP) — default. Everything included at checkout. Nothing more on delivery.
  • Postpay (DDU). Lower price upfront; you pay import duties and taxes directly to the courier on delivery.

Postpay is not available for the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, or Singapore — those orders are always Prepay (DDP) for the smoothest delivery experience.

Why we can absorb the cost

We import directly from authorised brand distributors in bulk through established trade channels. Per-unit duty and handling cost is significantly lower for us than it would be for individual customers buying retail through DDU.

We pass that saving straight to you. The total cost — duties, customs, shipping — is built into our prices and is still typically cheaper than buying from a local retailer that charges sales tax on top.

Free FedEx shipping above a per-country threshold

Each market has its own free-shipping cart-value threshold (shown at checkout in your local currency). Below the threshold, flat or calculated FedEx rates apply. Above it, shipping is on us — with duties still absorbed regardless of order size.

A few example thresholds: USA $350 USD · Australia $350 AUD · New Zealand $300 NZD · Singapore $60 SGD · Malaysia RM 700 · Japan ¥40,000. Exact thresholds for your country show at checkout.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 7–10 working days from order placement to your door:

  • 1–3 working days for us to pack and dispatch the order
  • 3–5 working days for FedEx Express transit to your country
  • 1–2 working days for customs clearance and final delivery

A tracking link is emailed the moment we hand the parcel to FedEx.

Local sales tax / VAT — what to expect

The duties we absorb are federal/national import duties and customs handling fees, which clear your parcel through customs cleanly. Any local sales tax / VAT / GST that your country may apply to imported goods is separate from import duties.

Inlinex doesn’t collect local sales tax — we’re not a domestic retailer in your country and have no local tax nexus. Whether your country requires you to self-report use tax on imports depends on local rules — that’s between you and your tax authority, never something the courier will collect at the door.

Duty-free shipping FAQ

Will I really not be charged anything on delivery?

Correct — nothing. Your order ships Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means all import duties, customs handling fees and applicable tariffs are pre-paid by Inlinex to your country’s customs authority through FedEx before the parcel reaches you. The courier will never ask you for additional payment at your door.

Which markets are covered by DDP by default?

All 21 supported markets: USA, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, India, United Arab Emirates, and Israel. If your country isn’t listed, FedEx still ships there but duties will be charged on delivery by your local customs.

What if my order is over a certain value — do duties still apply?

Yes, the same DDP coverage applies regardless of order size. Whether you buy a small accessory or a high-end race setup, we absorb 100% of import duties at checkout. The free-shipping threshold is separate from duty coverage — duties are always covered.

How do you afford to absorb the duty cost?

We import in bulk through authorised brand distributors via established trade channels, which keeps our per-unit duty cost meaningfully lower than what an individual customer would pay on a single DDU parcel. We bake that saving into our pricing rather than charging it on top.

Do I need to pay local sales tax / VAT / GST?

Inlinex doesn’t collect local sales tax / VAT / GST — we’re not a domestic retailer in your country and have no local tax nexus. The duties we absorb are federal/national import duties, which are separate from any local sales tax. Whether your country requires you to self-report use tax on imports depends on local rules — that’s between you and your tax authority, never a courier collection.

What is the Postpay (DDU) option I see at cart?

For most non-Singapore markets, the cart page offers a Price Option toggle. Prepay (DDP) is the default — everything included, nothing more to pay on delivery. Postpay (DDU) gives you a lower upfront price but you handle import duties and taxes directly with the courier on delivery.

Postpay is not available for the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, or Singapore — those orders are always Prepay (DDP).

What happens if customs holds my parcel?

DDP shipments are typically prioritised by customs because the duty and clearance paperwork is pre-filed by FedEx on our behalf. If a parcel is held for inspection, FedEx clears it on our account — you’re never asked to provide payment, paperwork or a customs broker. We’ll WhatsApp you proactively if there’s any delay.

How long does the parcel take to reach me?

Typically 7–10 working days door-to-door. That covers 1–3 days of order handling on our side, 3–5 days of FedEx Express transit to your country, and 1–2 days of customs clearance plus final delivery. You’ll get a tracking link the moment FedEx picks up the parcel.

Does this apply to clearance / sale items too?

Yes. Tariff-free DDP coverage applies to every product we ship to a supported market, including clearance and sale items.

What if a duty / tariff rate changes after I order?

The duty cost is locked in at the moment of dispatch, paid by Inlinex. You’re never exposed to rate changes between when you order and when it lands — that risk is ours.

Are prices already in my local currency?

Yes. When you browse from one of our supported markets, every price on the site is shown in your local currency (USD, AUD, NZD, GBP, EUR, JPY, etc.) and includes all import duties, customs handling and applicable tariffs. There are no hidden conversion fees added at checkout (your bank may apply standard foreign-transaction fees if applicable — check with your card issuer).
