Shipping to Canada

Shipping to Canada · FedEx Express

How your order gets to you in Canada.

We ship to Canada from Singapore with FedEx Express. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Canada’s import duty and sales tax are not charged at our checkout — FedEx collects them from you when your parcel arrives, at your own province’s rate. Here’s exactly how it works.

📦
1

FedEx Express to your door

Inlinex ships to Canada via FedEx Express. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight — no guessing, no padding. Fully tracked, door to door.

Orders over C$500 ship free or at a reduced rate, anywhere in Canada. Most qualify for free shipping; a heavy multi-pair order may be charged a reduced rate instead, and the exact figure is always shown at checkout before you pay. Below C$500, shipping is priced by weight, and many orders get an automatic shipping discount at checkout.

Estimated transit time is shown at checkout, and a tracking link is emailed once your order ships. We use FedEx because they’re reputable globally and offer real customer support. The transit time at checkout is an estimate — once a package leaves us we have no control over it, and you’ll need to call your local FedEx office if something looks wrong. Inlinex isn’t liable for delivery delays beyond our control.

The price you see is the product price

Import duties and taxes are not baked into our prices. That means you get a lower, transparent product price instead of an inflated “all-in” number — and you’re never overpaying. Canada’s import duty and sales tax are paid to FedEx when your parcel arrives (next card).

Duties & taxes: paid to FedEx on delivery

Your order to Canada ships DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Nothing for import duty or sales tax is charged at our checkout, so there is no duties option in the cart.

Import duty. Most of what we sell, including inline skates, frames, wheels, bearings and parts, is duty-free into Canada. Some bags and clothing carry a duty.

Sales tax is charged at your province’s rate on the value of the goods (plus any duty):

Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut 5% GST
Saskatchewan 11% GST + PST
British Columbia, Manitoba 12% GST + PST
Ontario 13% HST
Nova Scotia 14% HST
Quebec 14.975% GST + QST
New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island 15% HST
Example: a C$500 pair of skates to Ontario carries no duty and 13% HST, about C$65, plus any FedEx fee. The same skates to Alberta carry 5% GST, about C$25. Orders of C$20 or less clear customs with nothing to pay.

Paying duties on arrival

When your parcel reaches Canada, FedEx collects the import duty and sales tax from you before it is released, usually by email or text with a link to pay online, or at the door. FedEx may also add its own clearance fee to the amount it collects.

These charges are set by the Canadian government and by FedEx, and they are paid to FedEx, not to us. We can’t change or refund them.

Refused or abandoned deliveries: If an international order is refused at the door or abandoned, the buyer bears all charges. These charges are irreversible, and no store credit will be issued.

Changed your mind? Cancellation

Message us on WhatsApp (bottom-left button) as soon as possible.

  • If we haven’t packed your order yet AND it’s been less than 24 hours since you ordered → you get a full refund to your card.
  • If we haven’t packed your order yet BUT it’s been more than 24 hours → you get store credit (valid 2 years).
  • If your order has already shipped → we can’t cancel anymore, but you can still return for store credit (see card 6).

Statutory cancellation rights are not affected. If you are in the EU/EEA you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Customers in the United Kingdom, South Korea, Taiwan, or any other country whose law grants a longer cancellation period keep that right in full, and are refunded to the original payment method.

60-day return for store credit or exchange

You’re welcome to return for store credit or exchange your items within 60 days. Items must come back in the same condition they arrived in, with their original packaging and all components. For garments, tags must still be intact and the garment should not have been worn or washed.

Free shipping is earned by the value of the order you keep. If you return part of an order and what you keep falls below C$500, the delivery charge that order would have been charged is deducted from your store credit. If you return an entire order, the original delivery cost is deducted. The rate depends on the weight and the destination, and we will tell you the exact figure before you send anything back.

Buyer pays return shipping: Buyer covers all return shipping fees and taxes back to Inlinex. No store credit is issued for the initial shipping fee paid, and free-shipping orders have the original shipping cost deducted from the store credit.

Please don’t send used items back unless we’ve specifically asked you to. If we receive an item we judge unacceptable, you’ll be asked to arrange and cover the cost of fixing it and shipping it back to you. Returns may be declined if:

  • Goods are missing their original packaging
  • Goods or packaging are damaged
  • There’s proof of wear on the goods

We may also deduct from your store credit an amount equal to the cost we incur restoring the product to its original condition.

For the step-by-step return process (open the FedEx pak, reuse packaging, drop off), see our Simple Guide to Return & Exchange Outside of Singapore.

Payment & delivery notes

Foreign credit card fees. Transactions made with a foreign credit card may incur additional fees from your card issuer or bank. These fees aren’t imposed by Inlinex and are beyond our control — check with your bank or card provider before completing your purchase if you’re unsure.

Signature on delivery. Updated 28 August 2026. Orders placed from 12:00pm (SGT) on 28 August 2026 onwards ship with a signature required on delivery. FedEx will obtain a signature from someone at your delivery address rather than leaving the parcel unattended at your door. If nobody is available to sign, FedEx will attempt redelivery on another day. Orders placed before that time follow the previous arrangement, where FedEx may leave the parcel without a signature.

Frequently asked questions

How long will my order take to arrive?

Delivery to Canada typically takes 7–10 working days, including our handling time before the package leaves us. The estimate shown at checkout is just an estimate — once the package leaves us we have no control over it. A tracking link is emailed once your order ships so you can follow it in real time.

How is shipping priced?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight, and sent via FedEx Express with full tracking. Orders over C$500 ship free or at a reduced rate. Canada’s import duty and sales tax are not included: FedEx collects them on delivery.

Will I have to pay import duties when my package arrives?

Yes, usually. Orders to Canada ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): FedEx collects Canada’s import charges from you when the parcel arrives. Most skate gear is duty-free, and the sales tax is your province’s rate, from 5% (Alberta and the territories) to 15% (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island). FedEx may add its own clearance fee. Orders of C$20 or less clear with nothing to pay.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — message us on WhatsApp (bottom-left button) as soon as possible. The refund type depends on timing:

  • Less than 24 hours since ordering AND we haven’t packed yet → full refund to your card.
  • More than 24 hours, but we haven’t packed yet → store credit (valid 2 years).
  • Order has already shipped → can’t cancel. You can still return it for store credit once received.
Can I get a full refund instead of store credit?

Yes, but only if we haven’t packed your order yet AND it’s been less than 24 hours since you ordered. In that case, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll cancel for a full refund to your card.

After 24 hours (or once we’ve started packing), your order is already in processing and refunds are issued as store credit only.

Once your order has shipped, cancellation is not possible. Returns at that stage are for store credit only.

How do I return an item from outside Singapore?

Reuse the FedEx pak or box your order arrived in (every FedEx pak has two adhesive strips — open the top one, the lower one is for resealing). Repack everything the way it arrived, then drop it off at your nearest FedEx office. For a full walk-through with photos, see our Simple Guide to Return & Exchange Outside of Singapore.

Buyer covers all return shipping fees and taxes back to Inlinex. We sell return labels — live-chat us for a quote — but you’re also welcome to use a cheaper method if you can find one.

How long is store credit valid?

2 years from the date of issuance. Store credit can be used in our online store or at our physical store in Singapore.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

If you paid by card: Message us on WhatsApp ASAP. If we haven’t shipped yet, we can usually update the address.

If you paid via PayPal: We can’t change the shipping address — PayPal locks it to the address on file. We can cancel the order for you, but PayPal’s transaction fees are non-refundable and won’t be returned.

Do I need to sign for my package?

Yes. Orders placed from 12:00pm (SGT) on 28 August 2026 onwards ship with a signature required on delivery, so FedEx will ask someone at your address to sign for the parcel rather than leaving it at your door. If nobody is available to sign, FedEx will attempt redelivery on another day. Orders placed before that time may still be delivered without a signature.

Why did you ask me to verify my purchase?

To keep shopping safer for our customers, we may email or WhatsApp you for a quick verification if:

  1. The billing ZIP or postal code is missing or doesn’t match your card’s registered address.
  2. The cardholder name doesn’t match the shipping recipient.
  3. The billing address and card’s address are missing or don’t match.
  4. Multiple attempts were made on your card.
  5. The IP address doesn’t match the location of the transaction.

This is standard fraud-prevention — replying quickly helps us release your order faster.

What happens if my package gets refused or returned?

If an international order is refused at the door or abandoned, the buyer bears all charges. These charges are irreversible, and no store credit will be issued for the order.

What’s the warranty policy for international orders?

Inlinex will gladly pursue a warranty on your behalf. However, the user covers all repair costs (if any), shipping fees, and taxes in and out of Singapore. Warranty only covers manufacturer defects — wear-and-tear is excluded. Learn more about what our warranty covers here.

Why did my credit card charge an extra fee?

Transactions made with a foreign credit card may incur additional fees from your card issuer or bank (foreign-transaction fees, currency-conversion markups, etc.). These fees aren’t imposed by Inlinex and are beyond our control — check with your bank or card provider before completing your purchase if you’re unsure.
