At its core, the FR SL J stands out with its 3-in-1 insole system, enabling each skate to expand by +2 sizes regardless of the starting size — going beyond traditional adjustable skates for unmatched longevity and precise fit tuning over time. Measure your child’s foot length in cm and match it to the adjustable EU range below; the MP (Mondopoint) column is the most precise, and the EU range matches the variant to buy.
How to measure: Place your child’s foot flat against a wall on a sheet of A4 paper. Draw a line at the tip of the longest toe and measure the distance from the line to the edge of the paper — that cm value is the size to match.

3-in-1 Insole System
Three stackable insole layers give a +2-size adjustment from the base size, regardless of the starting size — peel a layer as the foot grows. The shell itself is fixed.
Frame & Mount
150 mm mounting system (compatible with most 165 mm frames) lowers the centre of gravity; the wheel setup evolves with foot size.
Liner
FR junior liner breaks in and moulds to the foot.
✓ How it should feel
A snug fit with toes just touching or reaching the front. Add insole layers if there is extra room, and peel a layer as the foot grows.
✗ How it should NOT feel
Toes curling up, the heel lifting once buckled, or the foot sliding around even with all insole layers in — size up a range.
